36// Muncher

This week theme I've done has been fun. I love making simple designs that look great as posters in my place.

35// The Crazy Teddybear

Haha! I have a vinyl toy like this on my desk.

34// Yellow One

I have a doll on my desk that looks like this...kind of weird.

33// Abduction

more simple artwork that's just fun to do. The truth is out there.

32// Green with envy

Somewhat of a one-eyed monster. I've been loving the theme I've stuck with this week. Just love the simpleness of the art and design. I've even printed all these as posters and now hanging in my bedroom.

31// The all seeing eyes

Flying robot heads

30// Octo-Babies

Octopus babies! or something like that. I was trying to draw some one eyed monster, and it ended up being something that looked like a octopus. go figure.

29// Squid

I may print this out as a poster for my living room. Simple, yet interesting.

28// The Deep Sea

I was totally stuck on what to do for today... then I looked over my godzilla toy and just did a quick illustration. I really should be using illustrator to draw these things, but for some reason I keep doing it in photoshop.

27// Spaceboy

Okay, so its not really a boy, but some yellow being in a spacesuit. I may use this character in the future, as I've alway wanted to write some space stories.

26// Blue Blob

Feeling a bit blue today.

25// Fish night

Back when I was playing poker at the cardroom everyweek, I used to say wednesday was fish night because of the weak players. I'm hoping to leave some sort of mark on the poker world this year as I want to do with design.

24// Tonight Show

Now that Conan's out, looks like Jay will be taking back the tonight show. But, I wonder if it will ever be the same.

23// I have a dream...

Today we honor Martin Luther King Jr. who was a true man of peace.

I saw the words "True leaders work for peace" on another poster and thought it really captured MLK jr. very well. So I decided to use it and help spread those words.

22// working

Its time to go back to work tomorrow...its suppose to be a rainy week too.

21// Go Girl

Looks a little too much like southpark, but I think its cute.

So my buddy asked me what I planned to do when 365 designs were done, and I didn't really have anything in mind. Then he said "are you going to make a book?" ....what a great idea! Now i'm really motivated to continue this challenge.

20// Phone

Been thinking to downgrade from the iphone for awhile now. I just don't use the calling feature on the phone as much. I wonder if there a device for just using internet and play games.

19// design 365

keep at it everyone! I love checking other people stuff.

18// The Forest Ninja

Based on one of my old films I did for film class called "The Forest Demon"

I really love the font Futura. Its just awesome font!

17// Moon

Its starting to rain again. I'm also starting to realize that most of my January designs so far have been illustration based. All drawn using just the mouse and I really try to stick to the 10-20 minutes guideline I've given myself. If I spend any longer, I think I'll lose steam fast and not make it 365 days.

I also like the randomness of what comes up on that day.

I've look at some other guys/gals who have taken on the challenge, and their designs thus far have been awesome...very print and web worthy. If they can keep that quality of work for the rest of the year...then wow! more power to them. I'm just hoping to up the designs as the days go on.

I can do it!
